RoofRoutes ("RoofRoutes," "we," "us") provides Collin County, Texas roofing-permit information to contractors. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you reserve zip codes or subscribe, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, the ZIP codes you serve, and payment details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number.
- Usage information. Like most sites, we automatically collect basic analytics — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring source — through Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure and improve the site.
Public-record permit data
Our core service compiles building-permit records — including permit type, date, property address, and property-owner name — from public Collin County appraisal-district and government records. This is public-record information, provided to subscribers for legitimate business outreach. RoofRoutes is not affiliated with, and is not endorsed by, any county, appraisal district, or government agency.
How we use information
- To provide the service and deliver your daily permit feed;
- To process payments and manage reservations and subscriptions;
- To respond to support requests and send service-related email;
- To measure, secure, and improve the website and our marketing.
How information is shared
We share information only with service providers that help us run RoofRoutes: Stripe (payments), Google (site analytics and ad measurement), Squarespace / Mailgun (email), and Microsoft Azure (hosting). We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and ad measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Data retention & security
We keep account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to run the service, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@roofroutes.com. You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time.
Children
RoofRoutes is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18.
